Welcome back – we’ve had some feedback that a few people missed the last 2 weeks newsletter, we took a mid-winter layup but nice to know that we were missed.
This week is all about an outside Australia focus – with news from China, France, Germany, Korea, Holland and the US.
The most interesting news to me is the announcement of Spithill and Ashby for the Little Amercia’s Cup. Not many people know that the technology for the recent AC33 winners started in off the beach club based racing yachts. Great to see top level sailors exploring another unique and impressive event.
For those readers in the Sydney area then it must be a call to action, time to visit the Boat Show and also take a look at Plastiki.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to take in some of the thrill of Winter sailing on Pittwater – we are so lucky to have such magnificent waterways.
Please drop me a line and let me know what’s filling up your winter boating program.
